About the Sacramento Area Mustang Club
The Sacramento Area Mustang Club is a non-profit organization of enthusiasts dedicated to the promotion of the Ford Mustang and it's legacy of fun and good times. All enthusiasts, Mustang owner's or not, are invited to join. Mustang ownership is not required to become a member of the Club, only the desire to enjoy and promote the Mustang, and to join with other members in the Club activities. Membership dues are $30.00 per year for individual members; in addition, family members may join as Associates, at $15.00 each.
We organize social events, driving events, car shows, swap meets, tech sessions, dinners, monthly general meetings, and our annual Mustangs & Fords at the Marriott car show. With the proceeds, we support organizations in area including, but not limited to: the California Auto Museum; the The RCPD P.A.L program. local High School Auto shop programs, Operation Backpack (for kids who might otherwise not have one), youth at risk programs, battered Women's shelters and veterans organizations.
Members also receive special discounts on parts and services at selected automotive business. The Sacramento Area Mustang Club is also a regional member of the Mustang Club of America.
The SAMC currently meets monthly on the third Wednesday of each month (except December). We meet at the Roundtable Pizza located at 7873 Lichen Dr, Ct. Hts. (off Antelope Rd. just west of Hwy 80). Our meetings run from 7pm to around 8:30pm, with many of us arriving at 6pm for food and socializing. You are welcome to join us and see what we are about.
