Car Show categories & vehicle Modification rules

Due to the continued Hotel Remodel and construction, the 2024 event will be held in the Hotel's Main (North)Parking lot, not the south parking lot as in the past.

Categories are determined by past participation-6 cars minimum per category. A max of only 2 trophies may be awarded to any particular vehicle. In the case that a vehicle is chosen for more than 2 awards, then that vehicle will forfeit any additional awards after the first two and the next highest vote getter in that class will be awarded. 

Voting runs from 9am until 11:30am

Stock and Modified Class clarification for this show......

An older Stock vehicle with updated headrest or High-back bucket seats, 3-point safety belts, and updated Brakes for safety, factory sized aftermarket wheels and tires, Chrome, painted, or aluminum dress-up items, aftermarket mufflers, Updated cooling systems for drivability, will be permitted in the Stock classification. 

Cars with Aftermarket power adding engine modifications, Engine or transmission swaps, Non-factory suspension, Non-Factory Wheel and tire sizes, Non-factory ride height, Aftermarket interior or exterior body parts, shall be considered modified, except as stated above.

If you still are not sure or still have questions as to which category your cars belongs in, choose what you think is correct and a final determination can be made by show staff during the registration sign in process the morning of the show. 

Show management has the right to re-classify a vehicle during the show if they, or other participants determine that the vehicle is out of class. 

Gates open at 8am for parking and check-in

Judging starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 11:30 am. Independent, unbiased judges provided by members of the Capital City Mopar Club.

Judging is based on Fit & Finish, Condition, Workmanship, Cleanliness, Presentation, and for the Stock Class: originality, survivor, or restored condition. If you want your car to be judged, please have the hood and trunk open, widows, and or top down.
